Audio CD Part 1

The audio CDs are an important element of the French in Action learning program.

NOTE: the audio programs on CD and Cassette can be hard to find but the program is available online; visit this page for more information.

First published on cassettes (First Edition), the French in Action audio program was then put out on two CDs (Second Edition). No Third Edition of the audio material has been published. Unless you are dedicated to cassettes, you want the CDs.

Consider ripping the audio tracks to a computer for easier management of the listening tracks. Note, these CDs were not designed for the computer audio age; it is an audio CD and working with the tracks in iTunes can be fiddly. So bring your patience. Or, you may be better off just using an ordinary CD player.

Shop around; the price can sometimes vary among retailers. You also may have good success searching at second-hand stores and on Ebay.
